been on Holiday
went out and did 50 miles today early this morning

If it is capable of emitting a solid light, then it needs to comply with the standards.

Realistically, if you're not being silly, then you probably wont get any trouble. The Police have far more important things to do than check if your lights follow certain standards or not.

most people have me beat at the mo as it doesn't help im on 2.3" wide mountain bike tyres for now, not really bothered as its not like il get a prize for being any faster so i see it as harder training. hopefully if i can keep up getting out (hay fever kicks my botty bad) i should be able to drop a couple of stone in no time as well as get back some fitness.

Thats completely different.

If you're riding around at night with no lights, then there's a good chance you will get stopped.

Yea I'm just amazed people do it some of them stick to the path but a lot of them just ride up the road.

It's fun watching the drunks going by outside some old man was walking up the road taking 2 steps backwords for every 3 steps forward

I took him about half an hour to do what would take me about 2minutes

bs.. not even in london! i haven't seen anyone stopped for having no lights..

I've found a reduced 2012 bike with tiagra spec groupset. Would this likely be 10 speed rather than 9 speed. The retailer was unable to confirm. Can only find 2011 spec that states 9 speed and 2013 which states 10 speed.

Had the initiation process of crashing off my bike whilst on a club ride today! Lots of road rash on my right shoulder, elbow, hip, split left thumb and heavily bruised right middle finger. Worst of all, I dropped the flapjack I was eating at the time! And my jersey is ruined. Oh well, all comes with the teritory of cycling I suppose, now the first one's out the way!

It's beautiful out there today! I got a few miles in but it was getting warm but luckily there were some nice views to keep me distracted.

im just letting my legs relax for today..

its been like 3 weeks of non stop cycling everyday.. and if i didn't cycle i would squat at the gym killing the muscles..

so ill take today off.. as temping as it is to go for a ride i've got a gym sesh at night.

Very sedate 40 today. Everyone fairly relaxed after big rides last weekend. The sun was beating down on us the whole way round. Love it.

2012 Tiagra should be 10 speed. It changed from 2011 to 2012.

Ouch! I feel you pain especially regarding losing a flapjack!

I skipped the club ride and Dundry Drubber today. Quite glad tbh went for a walk in the afternoon and broke into a sweat just going to the shops. Off to climb Brecon Beacons tomo. Going to set off at silly o'clock so I can get most of it done before temps peak.
