My kona paddy wagon came with the brakes wired the opposite way round, glad I checked before setting off for the first time!

Lots of nice climbs in the Trudos (sp?) mountains apparently.

Which year model of the paddy wagon do you have? I got the 2011 and upgraded the wheels to a v-sprint set and it made a big difference!
Got Axiom rack on it and some Vaude panniers and its an awesome all year fixed commuter bike.
Any pictures?

Lol I done the opposite changed from drops to bullhorn. The wheels not sure but they are not light, brilliant Miche primato hubs on it and pretty much bomb proof. Recently changed the headset because of rusty bearings. Only stock part left from kona is the stem and seat post which has seized up lol. It's a 2013, I've changed quite a few bits but not the wheels yet, I want to drop some weight and treat myself with wheels when I get to my target. So far I've removed the freewheel, changed from bull horn to drop bars, new brake levers, 105 road pedals, gp4000s tyres, carbon seatpost and lightweight saddle
What do your new wheels weigh? The standard ones come in at 3465g all in and 2510g just for the wheels and fixed gear. I'll take a picture today if I get chance, it's still shiny new because I won't start using it properly until September![]()
I'm thinking about getting a winter bike for commuting... I currently have a Giant Defy 1 2012 that I commute on. Is it worth buying something cheaper for winter, say Triban 3 price range, or save up a bit (lot) more and get a new summer bike? Or both, obviously!?
