Nights really drawing in now. Went out for 35mi at 6pm and it was pitch black sometime shortly after 7Quite fancy an Exposure Diablo w/ 1100lm
Definitely, out on the MTB tonight and it was dark enough to need the light by 7.15. Depressing
Although on the plus side won some NW Arctic GTX boots on ebay for £74! Just need to get some spds to put on the road bike for when it gets cold!

Yep. I broke the seal on evening rides in the full on dark tonight. 20 miles, set off at about quarter to eight and lights were on from the start. This is it now. I'm hoping I can find some decent places to ride in the dark. This time last year I was mainly doing boring circuits round nearby towns. I'll have to get out and explore some reasonably lit, quiet roads with a half decent surface to keep it interesting this time round.

Get an Equinox instead. 2200lm.
That's proper lumen, not Magicshine lumen.
On a related note, I've lost an Exposure joystick 7 somewhere in my house. I've looked everywhere and I just can't find it.

I know theres a short cage and a long cage
long cages are used if theres 3 range of cogs on the front (triple gearing)
I have 2 in front so short for me ?

most probably, what does your rear derailleur say? does say something like 105 or tiagra or deore ?
it is shimano 105 set
need to have a closer look and see if I can get full model number
after accident , changed rear hanger but it turnes out that it is all bend ;(
need new one ...
size of sprockets ? cant remember ;(

Just lost a KOM by some guy doing it at 47mph, oddly the rest of his ride looks fine. I've flagged it, it's on an iphone so I guess it's probably just bad gps data?
I need to get back into biking again, I've not been out for a month!! Just so much to do with the house that I'm busy every weekend. :/

Cycling to work this morning REALLY paid off given the horrendous traffic on the m6/m62. Strava messed up my phone which was a shame because I swear I put in 4-5 KOM performances this morning....

Haha, properly defined hills I can deal with but small annoying humps and undulations annoy me, such as going up over bridges! You notice that when you start cycling, routes you though werr fairly flat as actually strewn with really minor ups.
