I went out for a quick 30 miles before dinner. Lovely day, a little fresh, but really sunny. First ride in a week as I've been ill and the legs were ok, but now coughing up my lungs :D

Nope. Not entered either. Although it's definitely been the weather for it compared to last year. With at least 4-5 hours a day of sunshine.

I don't think I've ridden in 3 weeks or something. The chart on Strava has fallen off a cliff :o But work commitments have been insane for the last couple of months and look to continue for at least a couple more before it's going to be a bit more reasonable.

I'm happy I'll crack 6500 miles for the year.

Hope to get about the same next year, should be a challenge considering I travel overseas a lot.

My other main goal next year is to do a double century ride. I did two 150 mile rides this year and felt really good at the end, so 200 should be achievable....he says!! ;)
 


I should hit 6500 miles for this year too. Hope to beat that next year but will be difficult as I've entered a 20 mile run which require some training.

I think I feel a new year build coming on; all black and based round a Pre-Cursa frame.
 
Well I did pretty well out of Christmas - got a castelli gabba convertible :) tried it out today on a very gentle ride with my dad and it was fine with a base layer which made me realise I'm never going to go riding in conditions which require something even more extreme. Sadly I don't thin non going to be able to get much more riding done over the next few days though :(
 
My Christmas wasn't too bad for presents I mean , I can now go out in winter conditions all day without feeling cold..

Managed a small ride (35mi) this morning before heading up to London, was bloody cold all the way round (-2 ave...) Got another puncture, and had a few sideways moments, all whilst having a nice little cold going on. Definitely not going out that early again until it warms up!

Was cold, but the new Planetx roubaix tights I got for xmas kept me pretty warm. Mostly sunny if a little windy still. Was a bit of frost on the drive as i left the house mid morning but nothing on the roads once i was out.

Only need a few more miles to hit 5000 miles for the year as well. Weather looks awful tomorrow but not bad for 2 or 3 days after that so should get that no bother.
 
I got those same 2.3tog socks for xmas. Except I only got one pair lol. Went for first ride this month today 45mi from Bristol-Swindon. Even with those socks feet were still numb temps were 0.3-3c. Ice everywhere averaged 15mph.

will do! none of the sales seem to include the touring or 500! durr.. only 800.. don't feel like spending 200 on one tho :o
