This. stop messing around, email planetx. It's only been increased in the past few days, if you ask nice they'll probably give you it for the old price.

Alternatively: wait another 6-7 months and buy the rose when it goes up a few hundred quid :D

5km of climbing.

Still, at least the weather looks good.

Oh....

I've been refreshing the met office every hour. It's improved a little bit but looks windy!!!

At least they've pushed back the cut off times a little bit..

Bit of a desperate plea for help fellow OCUK. Planning on a long ride tomorrow and I've got back from holiday and found my new tubeless tyres have lost a lot of pressure.

This in itself isn't a problem I simply need to top them up with fluid but how much do I need to top them up with ? I vaguely remember someone on here having tubeless in the past (One more solo?) any advice on how much to use ? 25 MM tyres. Obviously searched google but no real answer for road bikes.

Thanks in advance.

ummm what !!

went out tonight, and only to come home to find my Garmin 800 wont connect to the PC :(
and I think I got a PB on a hill climb !

any ideas?

normally comes up when I plug the lead into my garmin, but its just charging

Decided to extend my commute slightly today and will continue doing the extended route from now on, albeit I only extended it slightly.

Weather looks absolutely shocking this weekend. Not going out with my cycling club on Saturday, it looks too grim! Going to head out to a new hill on Friday night instead.

I've got to say, now that I have been cycling more frequently for 4-5 months, I feel so much better at cycling than when I started. Fitness is much better and strength has improved ten fold over when I started. Not bad considering I came from the lifestyle of a student who had forgotten that he left uni 6 years ago but still continued the lifestyle!

Even the niggling little pains I used to get whilst cycling around my calfs, knees and quads are no longer present. Now I just get "good pain".

So for the second half of the year my goals are:

1. To keep up the commute for as many days per week as is possible.
2. To head out for one longer (~40 km) ride per week on an evening, including some local slopes.
3. To keep pushing to do longer cycles on the weekend - regularly completing 80-100 km rides.

The ultimate goal is to be fit and strong enough to be able to go on a cycle trip in France with a mate from work. Only in the early stages of it so far but am planning to fly to Geneva and cycle through the foothills of the Alps, to the Verdon Gorge, then fly back from Nice. Probably spring time next year.

I've just had trouble with mine tonight, it fails to connect to the garmin servers...please try again later....blah blah blah....though it seems to have an objection to my afternoon ride :S

Which is odd, because it uploads the activities to Strava just fine! So, I exported from Strava then manually uploaded the gpx to garmin!

Sounds like huge improvements and also pretty decent goals. It's crazy how quickly you improve when you start pushing yourself to do more miles/etc :)

The France ride idea sounds great too. I'm glad I've done L2P and bits of it were awesome but the idea of missing out the UK cycling altogether (and Paris cycling:p) sounds pretty awesome.

Yeah, I may be asking you for advice from your experience in terms of gear for the trip and things you wish you had done/taken/not taken but didn't! :)

More than happy to discuss that stuff, yeah :) One thing you absolutely should do is do a practice run the weekend (or two weekends) before where you do a load of miles and climbing whilst fully-loaded up. My horrible experience with that made me realise that I didn't actually need half the stuff I planned to take. Ended up only taking a normal size saddle bag and using the space in my hydration pack (2L+13L of storage) to store everything I needed. The other guys on the trip mocked me for not having enough stuff but I had more than enough - and they were all very envious once it came to carrying anything off the bike :)

~TLDR: You will need a lot less stuff than you imagine.

probably the driver has become corrupt.
Does it show up in Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers
?
for some reason with my new mobile phone I have to find it in there and right click > troubleshoot so windows will reinstall the driver every time I reboot ;lol... or windows won't let me access it only charge it

Not me sorry, but are they not holding air when you pump them up?

How long have you been away for? It's common for tubs to lose quite a bit of pressure.
