Yea i guess that means Wiggo is out for sure

I managed to hit a new pb on the commute home from work, 20.1mph over 32 miles. 1500ft of climbing. I really need to work on my climbing because im loosing out badly.

The guy who has the kom goes up the hill 5mph faster. Lots of work to do .

You're brave!
As it happens, I had an identical top speed in my race on Sunday (51.7mph).

No chance I'd be doing that if it wasnt a race though!

It was steep and straight so why not ! :p :D Thanks though !

Nice race there mate, what cat are you in?

oh and what do you guys use when your saddle sore ? I've been sore for a few days now, and I'm not using anything, I don't want to stop now, another 40 miles again today ! getting so close to the magic 50

Very pleased with my purchase.

Still Cat3 but well on my way to Cat2 now. Got 28 points now and I need another 12 to move up.

I have some 'udderly smooth' chamois cream. Dont use it much though, I only get sore on the TT bike. Never tried any other chamois creams so dont have anything to compare with.

The dcrainmaker review suggests you can only navigate to pre-defined points e.g. points of interest on the maps, addresses you've added in, etc. So you could put in your home address, and then route to that from anywhere in the country, but you couldn't arbitrarily decide you wanted to route to my house unless you'd already set it up in your Garmin. If you wanted to do that, you'd have to route to the nearest point of interest that the maps already had, I guess.

This is how my Garmin 1000 works and I absolutely hate it. The other day I had someone's address but nowhere to input a postcode. In the end I just used the road signs.

I can set my current location as a place, home/work for example, which is pretty useful. I tend to pick a place I've never visited before, find my own way there, and then tell the Garmin to take me home.

But yes, I wish the 1000 acted more like a traditional car sat nav

I use Sudocrem. Having young children we've always got it in the house and it does the same job. Probably more actually; water (sweat) repellent, emollient, antibacterial, anti fungal and a weak anaesthetic.

I use it off the bike as a skin healer. Does it actually work well on the bike? I suppose it doesn't matter much, but does it stain your bibs or pad?

Not that I've noticed.

I only tend to use any sort of chamois cream on very long rides anyway. Even then it's only if I remember. I don't think I wore any for the RideLondon last year and it didn't even cross my mind for the 55 miles I did the other weekend.

Ok. Let's imagine I got a bonus at work. Let's imagine that after paying my dues to the taxman, the student loan people and the wife I was left with £300. What wheels would we imagine me buying for my Planet X alloy Sunday best bike? Those H Plus Son archetypes got mentioned last time I asked this...
