Is this LtD? It's certainly my finger.
Could be, looks rather like him.
Sagan on the left there also

And I believe this was Richie Porte bringing up the rear:

Right. Time for a bit of a write up of today's trip to Holme Moss before I collapse into bed!

as soon as people thought the race was done, everyone pretty much en masse picked themselves up and started heading down the hill again, which made things a bit tricky when a Lampre rider, who'd apparently fallen and been run over, or something, came up about a quarter of an hour behind everyone else.
First ride out with power and the edge 1000 today, tried a few little things, such as the live tracker, which my Mum said was "cool"... and also the wi fi upload, although this failed from my shed, so have added another access point that should be closer, the unit actually seemed to crash when uploading, so had to do a soft reset, which is a bit concerning, will be keeping an eye out on that.
The edge is a real step up from the 1000, from the much clearer larger screen, and the quicker responses to your inputs. The map is a big step up too, looking forward to doing some pre planned routes with it.
Now POWER, I didn't really know what to expect, had to calibrate the pedals as this is what is recommended, but takes less than 30 seconds, so done that before I got out of my road, a simple recalibrate and then spin the pedals backwards a few times, nice and simple.
Pushed myself up the first real climb, and was seeing peaks of 700W over a 3 second average, but it soon drops off, reckoned I averaged 266W over 1.6 mile climb.
Seems this is my average power I can push on those sorts of climbs, with a few around that sort of length and power. Be interesting to see what I put out over the 25 mile TT I have on Thursday.
Was keeping an eye on my balance too, which is probably the main benefit of the vectors over other power devices, balance peaked at 53/47 to my left foot, but by the end of the ride it had got back to 50/50, so I can only prsume this was due to my body warming up.
Average weighted output of 190W, which was a bit more than I was expecting on a club run, with a maximum output of 889W today.
Overall very impressed, and looking forward to using the two devices over the next few weeks, really hope they give me some benefits with training.
Here's my ride for anyone that is at all bothered.

Hmm nah none of these, I have it favourite at home so can check there. Did use bikeroutetoaster to create an intended ride for next weekend, seems decent enough.

Dave Loughran said:A proper CFO would be going, ‘why are you doing that, Dave? You’re a lunatic’. Well, I want to, I am a lunatic, and it’s my money.
I just use strava routes..![]()
Is that premium only? Oh no nm just found it.

People went nuts for the Carrefour King of the Mountain's spotty caps, I'll tell you.

The breakaway!
