To be honest.... I'm a massive wuss on descents so I can sympathise with them![]()

Your bike is going to be at least a 10% increase in weight. Definitely worth logging.
If your phone supports Ant+ you can pick up a very cheap speed/cad sensor from Decathlon.
just wrting a letter to my bank and the mag subscription place to cancel Direct Debit
which address do I write to?
website says 3 address, but none for Northampton (where the letters are coming from) and on the original letter I sent to subscribe, its not immediate Media, its Future publishing , but same place in Northampton but different post code??
Do you have online banking? I just cancel my ones online and a letter comes through a week later.
I will be too if I ever come off
Yep +10% just about. 8.82KG
I have a 5s and was initially going to get a Wahoo HRM & S/C but since decided a Garmin 500/510 is probably a better bet.
Have you thought about including gear, backpack, etc in your weight monitoring? It may sound a little petty but actually it can all add up. Windy again this morning, horrible in parts.
really struggled today
first ride of 2015 and I did 50 miles
been so ill for 2 weeks, not been on the bike at all...

Any armchair cardiologists want to take a look at my first rate with a heart rate monitor? The wind was ridiculous, so there are some silly bits, but even accounting for that my heart rate looks very high. Average of 164bpm and a high of 189bpm when I was sprinting at 26mph.
What setup are people running for pumping tyres?
I gather I need a track pump to be able to put any decent amount of pressure in my tyres at home, but out on the road should I experience a flat?
Is a Co2 valve & capsule the choice purely for size/convenience in a saddle bag over a hand pump on the frame?
My only worry with CO2 stuff is that I might run out of cartridges on a longer ride or if I'm unlucky. Probably just paranoia though.
Track pump at home and for commuting I'm currently carrying a can of Vittoria Pit Stop taped under the saddle. It's about the same size as a CO2 pump but you don't need tools or a spare tube. Interested to see how well it works. Just have to be careful to spot the puncture. What setup are people running for pumping tyres?
