I've noticed castellicafe have the leg warmers I'm after currently on offer, but only available in XL size. I wear a XL race fit castelli bib (which is a very tight fit) and I'm 80kg 6'2 which according to this, i should need a large in the leg warmers?

You reckon i would get away with an XL as i know castelli stuff always comes up smaller, despite using there size guides!

I recon you should be ok. Only one way to find out.

I thought we discussed this though: knee warmers > leg warmers ;)

I'm gonna head out tomorrow to do a few hills. Nothing major, under 30 miles but I'll do our cat 3.

I'm surrounded by incomplete bikes. My tdf is waiting on cables. My pompino needs some touch up paint and then wants selling. My new flyer is waiting on tyres before I take her out for her inaugural ride. Only my Planet X is in full working order.

I took my knackered wheel in to the shop this morning, so they're fixing that at least, then that set will be hitting eBay. Gotta clear stuff out!

I'm possibly going out with the Manchester Wheelers for an intro ride tomorrow (I'll treat it as a recovery spin) thought I'm kind of more tempted to BBQ a load of ox cheek. Decisions decisions. My bike needs a bit of TLC after today too and I'm not sure I can be bothered doing that tonight.

Downing a ton of pain killers and passing out for an hour has really helped with what I assume was a hangover. I don't feel like my head is about to explode any more.

I don't feel like my head is about to explode any more.

That's always a bonus! :D

I'm heading out tomorrow early doors for a 35-40mile with some cat 4's thrown in. It looks like it's gonna be cold first thing so may need to chuck the winter bib back on! Suppose to be cracking weather once the sun shows its head though :D

Managed to sneak out to the Rapha sample sale, wasn't too incredible.
Prices were good but most of what I assume would have been the better items were already gone, so left with stuff that didn't take my fancy.

Abundance of Sky kit though, bibs, jerseys, the lot!
So considering £75 for bib shorts & £45 for jerseys, might grab some Sky kit and screw anyone that says otherwise :p Why turn down good decent kit for a good price? :D

@Alex, your signature told me to follow you, so I did. :p

Added you on Strava prompted by Reaperguy. Small world as I lived in Worthing for most of my life.

no idea what it means reaper lol

It's just a place in Birmingham, odd-shops, events and the such. It's like the edgy part of Birmingham, it's where all the old Victorian factories were when it was mainly industry, quite funky.

"THE CUSTARD FACTORY IS THE UK’S LEADING DESTINATION FOR CREATIVE AND DIGITAL BUSINESSES, INDEPENDENT SHOPS AND ALTERNATIVE CULTURE OUTSIDE LONDON."

My Telehex allen key tool arrived from Kickstarter - pretty cool, though I've already taken some of the anodisation off whilst testing it.

Be interesting to hear how you get on with it. My initial concern when I saw these was how thin walled those bigger sizes were, I'd be concerned about it twisting while in use if I came across a stuck bolt.

Taking workmates out on a 62 mile / 3000ft elevation ride tomorrow. Hopefully I don't kill them! One only just got a road bike the other day and this will be his first ride... the others don't cycle that much though one is training for LEJOG in September.

What could possibly go wrong....

Out early this morning for 28 miles and 2000 feet. A bit slower than I'd have liked, but not bad given it was cold and I've not done much climbing yet this year. My single speed commuting to work must be helping with my low cadence grinding, because I got to the top of the cat 3 and realised I'd done it without dropping below 34*23. Not bad.
