What size are Castelli arm/knee warmers? The same tiny sizes as their bib shorts?

I found them to be a bit more realistic. I'm small in most cycle kit @ 64kg but wear a medium castelli shorts and tops. But I have both arm and knee warmers in a small and fit is perfect for me.

Cool, thanks - the only sizing thing I could find so far (or have seen, rather) listed sizes for a given weight of rider... which is stupid.

Still can't decide on what wheelset to get. Currently have some ksyrium equipe I picked up cheap on the bay that so far have proved great for my commute and occasional training session but would really like something more. I was all set on a custom build archetype or pacenti sl23 on hope or dura ace but saw this offer for some fulcrum racing 3s with tubes and tires for 300 http://www.wiggle.co.uk/fulcrum-racing-3-wheelset-tyres-tubes-bundle/
Can't decide.

£40 sounds a bit meaty for an alen key lol. Unless you mean $40?

I do like the idea but it's missing things I often use so I'd have to carry something with it anyway

yeah, $40 :)
think it's canadian dollars too, so <£17.

It's missing some things, like chain tool and screwdriver - but it'll be plenty for my commute - I'll take my fuller tool on bigger rides.

I love my chinese carbon, £278 for 1.45kg wheels with a 50mm dish and basalt braking surface! But depends what you want to use them for.

I'm not sold - not least because the video won't play for me.

Earlier today however I was discussing the idea of swapping all my bike bolts out with ones that had a universal socket/size and then dumping the majority of the multi-tool bits I carry with me on any given ride...marginal gains, yo :p

Having bolts the same size doss make things so much easier. Be cheaper to switch your bolts than buying one of these! :-P

Just got those wheels/tyres... made a massive difference - but then I was just on Shimano RS10s before. Really love the fulcrums.

Actually no I didn't. GP 4000s II tyres is what I got.

switching small bolts up to bigger heads might offset that gain, although you could use alloy bolts in all non-critical locations

surely there isn't much that's anything other than a 4, 5 or 6 anyway?

I once got as far as using plastic bottle cage bolts....

it honestly sounds like you're upgrading for the sake of it.

To be honest I'd only semi seriously consider it if it meant I only had to carry one tool - just to simplify the contents of my saddle bag (and potentially mean I could carry a bigger and easier to use allan key).

As mentioned they're a but more 'normal' sizing wise. I have sportful which in theory is the same sizing... I size XL in Castelli shorts and L in their tops. I have short legs so went for L legs (fit fine, bit tight & long), L arms (very tight & long, will try XL next time), L knee warmers (better fit than the legs!).

That's a great deal, providing they're a good upgrade...!

Crowd-funding for solutions to problems you never knew existed.

Should be their slogan!

If gainz are that important just torque everything before you leave, then leave all tools at home! Most other cyclists will have one if you need one :p

You could swap bolts out for ti (single sized) and threadlock *everything*, then carry a single allen key attached to your house keys ;)

Wore my Northwave GTX boots this morning for the first time riding and they're a little large, I got a 43 when I normally wear a 42... Hoping some inserts help as it's only slight. In theory I'll be wearing them with thicker socks too!

They were incredible, so comfortable and my feet were toasty warm within seconds! So much so I chose the easy (non elevation) route to work so they didn't overheat lol ;)

Think they're really for temps below 6-8 degrees!

On the offchance does anyone have a pair of 41/42 that are not too battered, yet slightly tight/small on them they'd want to swap with some 43's?
