Yeah... As I mentioned in later posts that wasn't the aim of swapping out bolts.

I'm an enthusiast, do I need an rve and a hex core and a few hundred pounds worth of water cooling. No but that's not the point. I'm the same with my bike.
That's fine, so long as you know what you're doing and understand that beyond a certain point returns diminish.

Why carry house keys? The extra weight is worth 3 seconds on a 10 mile TT.
I just smash a window with a brick when i get home.
Sure, it costs me. But it's worth it for marginal gainz, innit.

Why I'm looking at wheels in the £300-400 range and not any more.
Ive barely ridden close to 10 miles in nearly 4 weeks now which is starting to really get on my ***s
My Mrs was ill so I had to drive her to work and then pick her up which meant I had to drive to work to be there on time, that was week 1, week two, couldn’t get the bike back together in time so took the rest of that week off, went to ride the bike on week 3 and had some serious mechanical issues which have now been resolved and I’ve been off work the last two days sick so today was my first shot at a really good ride.
Sept I snapped another spoke, they’re lucky I haven’t smashed them off any wall I can find right now, these wheels are seriously pee poor, how can Giant get away with giving us such crap, 5th time in less than 3 months now!
I’m looking for some Khamsins now, no choice but to spent the money, can’t be paying tena a time for these repairing, they aint even worth a tena.
So yeah, anyone know a good deal?
Man im angry right now.
Have you tried oiling your spokes where they cross each other.Sure i've asked before but didn't get an answer... How would I go about identifying the screws from my rear derailleur hanger? I've started getting a clicking when pushing power or carrying extra weight. Thought it was spokes (had similar before with my Giant wheels) but they're still 100% true and the spokes are all very tight. Previously my hanger screws have come loose and i've tightened them... Now one of them the tiny head is rounded so I can't tighten it futher and fairly sure i'my going to need to drill it out! Not going to attempt to remove it until I have a replacement...
Image may not work as the Android Dropbox app doesn't do public links (PC does!)

I ordered some carbon forks and they arrived with a chip out of the bottom of one of the legs.
Woukd people say it is safe to repair? I am asking the seller to tell me what options we have to solve the problem, but thinking worst case scenario...

As promised, here's a video of yesterdays ride along Wastwater.
