Put TV up in the basement and some flooring down, but realised as I was putting it down the eBay seller only send me half the order, so now I've come up short. Contacted him to see if he'll get it out quick sharp.

Getting there though. Just need some mirrors on the end scabby wall and some shelves and bike holders, cable tidies, then I'll be happy.

Headed out far too early this morning, it was bloody cold, few climbs soon changed that until the sun came out!

Went out to watch a local road race, Perfs, think this is it's 50th running! So been going a while, got to my first viewing point on the first hill of the circuit riders coming past followed by sounds of sirens and an ambulance was trying to get past them up a relatively narrow road!

Race had to be stopped just after they past me, so moved my viewing spot to bit further back around the course on a horrible corner that we use for my local TT, lot of balls for a big group to go around this corner together that's for sure.

It was toocold to hang around so shot off home after this seeing them come around for the 3rd lap, by this time the group had been blown apart with a group of about 10 out front, another group of 30 or so then some small fragment groups of 10 or so behind totalling 70 riders.

Didn't envy them out there today, but I suspect they're glad it wasn't raining like it did yesterday.

So finally got round to getting some photos of my new bike, it hasn't been out yet and won't come out until the roads improve. Just got the pedals, garmin mount and fit the saddle bag (don't worry it is a small one!). I am going to get it on the turbo to get the positioning right before heading out on it too. Can't wait to ride it!

That looks great. Mine might make it out on the road before yours as I have bought all the bits for it now :D Well just waiting for the stuff to be delivered this week and need to put it all together.

got to play with a couple of cool things at the bike show yesterday.

new sram red etap. oh god this looked and felt so good. The split of function between the left and right shifter paddles was really nice and I think better thought out than the current shimano wireless shift systems. up with right shifter, down with left shifter and pressing both swapped front chainring.

the other things was the tacx neo smart. The thing is absolutely tiny and packs up even smaller. When setup it's really stable though, really quite in use as well. But £1100 :o no thanks.

I think my next bike purchase is getting a kinesis 4s disc frame though. The layout is just so well thought out and covers every base while still being pretty damn light.

the freakiest stand was watching the €12k Typhoon electic bike cycle itself on a stand. 3 modes, 60w for about 5 hrs, 120w or 250w for about 2 hours. The guy said he has ridden with several pro's out of monaco and was keeping fairly close to them on long climbs :o he said they didn't seem to mind as they could still put out more power when they went for it. A small mod removed the 28kph speed restriction and apart from the name on the side and a slightly weird looking waterbottle/battery pack you couldn't tell it was one. The controls are bluetooth buttons under the bar tape.

Tour of Sufferlandria done, on target for most of the stages apart from yesterday which I'm pretty sure was impossible at full gas, as it would've required almost 100% FTP for two hours.

Legs in pieces now but got my Sub Sports tights on under my jeans to hopefully lessen the suffering tomorrow!

Favourite stages probably The Rookie and The Hunted. Violator was awful as the first 40 minutes is pretty dull while the last five are utterly horrific. Nine Hammers was pretty brutal too but would be good as a standalone video.

Do you mean the wretched or did you do an extra video? :p

I just finished as well - violator is an odd one, I remembered that it was going to get really nasty from before though.
