We generally have a roast on Saturday, always have done. Parents never liked Sunday lunch

Purple or otherwise you don't serve mash as a roast, roast them tatties or it isn't a roast dinner.

Slimy discs at the back are some purple roast potatoes, bad photo though

Ravioli looking things are actually chunks of crackling!

indeed. It looks like rough mince. (colour not withstanding) They look so dry, don't you add cream or butter to them ? And they should be roasted anyway. Broccoli looks well overcooked, and soggy.
