Jumped the gun a bit but yes it is looking like arrivederci Mancini.
Sad to see him go but more so the way it is being drawn out by the management at the club.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing what Pellegrini can do, only ever really had one chance at winning trophies with Real who sacked him because Perez didn't like him it seems but after and before that he has done fantastic work with Villareal and Malaga.
I still believe another manager would be a better appointment but its not always the best manager but the right manager that will bring success.
Pellegrini woooahh Pellegrini wooooaahhh
He comes from Chileeee!!!
To manage Man Cityyy!!!
Pellegrini woooahh Pellegrini wooooaahhh
The reported replacement doesn't seem to scream top manager to me in all honesty. I'd have probably given Mancini at least until Christmas to prove he's still the guy to do the job.
I would say if they have even discussed sacking him then get it done, that way Pellegrini has a whole summer to build a team and have a proper pre-season.
There has been an inkling since the new CEO and DoF joined that Mancini could be on his way but they didn't want to sack him mid-season because of the upset it might cause.
Doing it now hasn't been smooth and probably not how it was planned but at least this way as I said Pellegrini has time to work with the team.
