Rockband 2 UK - NOVEMBER

I am still undecided as to whether I want the GHWT or RB2 drums. Which do you think will be better, and how will using one on the other game affect gameplay?

It's brilliant, especially with all the other games released that month
Gears of war/Tom clancy's end war and GHWT all on the 7th november
COD 5 and Monopoly (yeah you know you will) the week after
Tomb Raider underworld and Lips the following week
Scene it 2, Tom Clancy Hawx, LOTR and many many more in the last week of nov.
Somewhere RB2 will slot in

Thought that would be obvious. You are going to get less of the experience with GH if you use the Rock Band drums. GH has upped the difficulty by having another pad. If you use the RB drums it knocks the difficulty down.
I haven't played Rock Band on drums so I am only assuming the more pads, the more difficult. At least that's the problem I have when trying to play a DDR game on doubles.
But as someone who doesn't own a drum kit peripheral, it makes more sense for me to get the GHWT drums than the RB ones. If I owned the RB drums I wouldn't get either RB2 or GHWT drums because it's just too much money to keep paying for plastic.

Not much has been said by Harmonix on this. Plus that's more money to spend on pads.
Oh and Psymonkee, the cymbals are extra sections on the scrolling fret board rather than alternatives to the pads.

I've read plenty on it and in the other RB2 thread posted the video's of the madcatz guy showing them off.
After trying the drums again tonight as great as they are it's co-ordination I will never get a grip on. I'm thinking of just sticking with the drums I have for the rare medium skill level goes I have.

However I'm not too sure if it adds a extra section to the game. They said it knows the difference between the cymbals and pads when in freeplay mode but I haven't heard anything else. Any other links would be great.
(Also I couldn't help but notice that when he moved the drum kit the cymbal stands wobbled)
Yeah thats the video make sure you watch part 3 the instruments on that are awesome.
I think the one that wobbles is set very high, Personally I wouldn't have it set that high and i'm not sure why it does.
Creature said before the cymbals have been breaking on GHWT when demo'd so I'm not sure on how either drum kit cymbals with stand up to punishment.
