Similar thoughts here. Saw him at the UEA in Norwich Was meant to do 90 minutes, did 2 1/2 hours... Then hung around for another couple of hours chatting, taking photos and signing autographs. In my collection of terrible singles I have a copy of Rolf doing Bohemian Rhapsody signed and with a Rolfaroo... It's really, properly bad.Saw him at Glastonbury one time in one of the smaller tents, absolutely brilliant, such an entertainer and the place was about 50 deep all around the tent. Playing Robbie Williams Angels on the wobble board was just inspired and there was nearly a riot to get him to come back for an encore lol.
I sort of a agree with that as wellHard to argue with the general sentiment of the thread. At least, unlike Saville, he paid for his crimes.
Yet, Rolf Harris was part of my childhood and I feel strangely sad at the loss of a figure who, I guess, never really was.
Actually joked a long time ago, that when discussing who would be the next big Paedo and saying there's no way Rolf would fiddle around. How wrong could I be?
That is indeed what the story saysI just checked Rolf's Wikipedia page and it said that he died on the 10th May, nearly 2 weeks ago.

Same here, I don’t like celebrating death full stop. It’s very undignified. I remember being pretty appalled at the reaction from some to the death of Thatcher.Whilst I'm not sad he's passed away nor am I celebrating it.
