you sure about that? Tried googling but only seem to be able to find shareware versions and trials.....
 
i cant find my RCT2 disc anywhere, also looked in 6 different shops today and none of them had it in stock :(
but i have just bought the deluxe edition (original + both expansions) for £8.84 inc delivery so its not all bad :D
 
rollercoaster tycoon 3 isn't all bad, sure its not quite as good as the first or second, but you don't have to go rotating the camera or anything and it has just as large of a selection of rides/shops, plus you can chuck wilderbeasts in with lions and stuff :rolleyes: and you can chuck elephants out onto the path and watch everyone run about in a panic, always amused me, it is a bit too easy mind compared to the first two :)

Indeed, it is strange. I built another one about 5 times bigger than the one in the screenshot and it had 399 people it in (which seemed like the limit as it never went to 400 [they do have safety regulations after all]) and it still looked ridiculous.
 
im having problems in rtc2, when ever i build a rollercoaster its always to intense and people wont ride it :/ i hate having to use the prebuilt ones as i prefer to make everything myself

also, anyone know how to force rct2 into windowed mode?

From reading online, watch the G-force peaks on the graph option when you test it and try and reduce them.

Oh and you can't run it in a window. Everyone on the net has tried it for years and failed.
 
Loved RCT1 + RCT2 back in the day. It took up all my PC gaming time for quite a while and i had some amazing parks and coasters. But i had a HDD failure and lost everything on it, and i just couldn't face starting all over again :(

btw, is there anyway to make the game run at 1920x1200 now?
 
I can't get RCT2 working :(

Im playing RCT3 + wild + soaked at the moment and it's actually really good, apart from several annoyances - ie path building and deleting is a lot more difficult, there are TOO many options for ride settings etc so I can't find the right bit etc.

I'm playing RCT1 thanks to this thread. How addictive is it!!?? :eek:

Gonna get the expansions and then move onto RCT2 :)
 
Although i have bought 1 , 2 and 3 , i haven't been able to find them again since lending to my brother some months ago which is a pain!. However i'm going to get RollerCoaster Tycoon: Ultimate [Portable] [One, Two, and Three]

This is a new Release of all three RollerCoaster Tycoon games, and their expansions.
While the original release and many other releases did contain all the necessary
files for a clean install of RollerCoaster Tycoon, they were flawed by many
critical Vista installation and playability problems, stability issues,
audio-video problems, and poor documentation. By converting the content to a
portable format, providing working cracks, scripting hacks, better documentation,
and including the Official and Unofficial patches, these issues have been resolved.
Unnecessary content was also removed from this release, reducing the size of the
three games collectively by a third while retaining all functionality.

Sure it isn't legit but i do own the originals but knowing my brother he probably scratched them to buggery :(
 
I really really enjoyed RollerCoaster Tycoon three ! :)

Don't see why it gets so much hate.
RollerCoaster Tycoon one & two were really good.
