Just lost 3 hrs playing it and watched the Twitch launch stream in that time too. I like it, takes me back, no without issues but happy so far
Good to hear, I've got it as a stop gap to Planet Coaster. Shall give it a whirl tomorrow, though I imagine its quite lacking on content...
Basically that's my thinking too, for the cdkeys price it'd have to be truly awful for it not to be reasonable value.
Content wise it's a lot fuller than i was expecting tbh. It does lack polish and when i'd got a bigger park with a lot of guests the fps tanked but i carried on playing anyway and suffered it willingly. There are a few obvious things missing but it's an Early Access title so hopefully they'll get it sorted over time e.g. sign posts (i couldn't find them), can't zone / grab cleaners, no water rides. Some of the controls or somewhat clunky and the paths can sometimes be annoying (City Skylines polished control system it is not lol).
It's not Planet Coaster for sure, i doubt if they took another 3 years it'd been anywhere near that level but for the price it'll more than tide me over, bugs / miss content included

Lets not forget that the camera likes to take input from perhiperals such as, Joystick, Throttle and Rudder pedals.

I must be easily pleased, clocked in another 3 hrs last night after the new patch. My sandbox park is coming along nicely. Still huge amount of bugs and issues but stable, looks nice enough and they've at least tweaked some of the really annoying path issues / object placement. Still a long way to go but PC will be out by then so it'll of served its purpose . My biggest annoyance is the peep ai / park logic. Have way too many tired guests (big park) but have plenty of rides frequently placed so they shouldn't be complaining!

I am enjoying it, but am glad I got it on offer.
1) It doesn't really look that much better than RT3 as the textures are low quality when zoomed in.
2) The camera is terrible as when scrolling to change the height of something, it will zoom in/out at the same time.
3) The placing of buildings is shocking as they hover above where they will go but with no shadow or outline on the ground of its location, it can be difficult to know where you end up placing the item.
4) The change from day to night and back causes huge slow down (60 -> 5 fps), because the shadow movement, which to be honest is unnecessary anyway
Have you placed any benches down to sit on?

Might have to wait for it to leave early access before considering picking it up. I don't want to be put off by playing a version that isn't worth anyones time.

Yeah plenty of benches, both staggered along many paths and collections of them. It seems very few use them though. Also have plazas dotted about as well but again not much use so far.
At the moment i've closed my park so slowly (really slowly) my peeps are leaving, once at zero i'll reopen and see if new peeps act differently instead of the walking dead that are currently roaming around.
Enjoying playing, but its frustratingly buggy. Just now I had 12 shops and 3 rides just disappear... and everytime I reload the game everyone disappears and then floods back through the entrance instantly, all repaying the entrance fee... Objects are also annoying to place with overlapping etc. Especially paths, makes it impossible to have neat paths
