root kit problem need help badly

hey guyz i have this root kit trojan on my other desktop. Could anyone please suggest the best rootkit remover out there. I have tried using pccillin and webroot spy sweaper but still the little bugger is still there. I need help badly. :mad:

firstly its a dell and i dont have the drivers for the pc casue its old. secondly i need to know how to get it off. Reinstalling the os is not always a good idea even though it solves the problem.

it cant remove the root kit it just tells u where its at

Download the trial of Ashampoo Antispyware as that has a specific rootkit scanner under the tools section. Other than that try Ewido or A-squared.

Another good one to try is F-Secure's Backlight. It's very good at rootkit removal.

Periodic reinstall of the OS always makes me a little happier with my PC.
