I have a D7000 Netgear Router and and random intervals it drops all connections (wired and wireless) and doesn't allow you back onto the network.
If I look at the router lights when this happens all of them are indicating no errors and the internet connection light is still on. I just can't seem to get into the router.
On wireless devices they all get booted off and when you try to join the network wireless it complains that the password is wrong which is clearly not the case.
If I try to connect with a wired connection the client gets connected to the router with an odd IP address (169.x...).
To solve this i basically have to power cycle the unit and it's fine.
This seems to repeat itself 3 times a day at least and it's getting annoying now.
I checked the logs section of the router but it seems they get wiped every time I power cycle which isn't very useful.
Any ideas what this could be?
