ordered 5 items that needed to come before weekend as i'm going away for my ipad the items we're

I paid an extra like £25 for special expedited delivery which assured it comes today, ordered all items on Wednesday around 3pm.

All items are due for delivery today, but wheres royal mail and it's 5.21?

dont care about the weather they're paid to deliver my **** regardless, on call nurses dont delay callouts due to weather.

Acutally numerous medical services are delayed due to the weather as well. Trauma lists are through the roof meaning patients with broken wrists are jsut having them bound and being sent home to come back another day.

If your that bothered you could try phoning the local sorting office to see if they are actually there and go pick em up?

They might be there waiting to be delivered but due to weather unable to be

lol if i'm bothered. I've tried to find a number and phone the correct one now for 45minutes. Why cant i claim my money back If i spent over £30 on expedited delivery which garuentees a date

"ordered 5 items that needed to come before weekend as i'm going away for my ipad"

You and your ipad are going away for a romantic weekend together? Apple fanboys are bloody weird!

I'm going way for about 6 days sorry and basically bought them especially for it and a few other bits... But is therehope? I heard they deliver till 7 and on the tracking it was handed over yesterday

So on the same side of the misfortune coin, your items get to spend another X days in the freezing depot, being kicked about.

Lose/lose TBH. :p

This is a quote of your OP.
What exactly does this mean?

The items were for your ipad and you're going away for the weekend, or what?

Either way, weather bad, no deliveries.
Bad luck, paying extra for rapid delivery when certain areas are standstill you lose out.
You might be able to try to claim back the delivery cost, but i doubt it.
Did you notice that airports were closed? Road blocked, police stating only essential journerys in parts?

When you purchase their service, you agree with their terms and conditions which state:

3.6 We may decide not to collect or deliver any items if we consider it to be imp
unreasonable to do so, including if:

3.6.4 our staff’s health and safety would be at risk in any way

plus

Matters beyond our reasonable control

8.1 Sometimes we may not be able to provide the services because of something
beyond our reasonable control (such as war, acts of terrorism, extreme weather
conditions, earthquakes, fire, floods, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown
(including of machinery, equipment, and vehicles), any public or private road being
blocked, or industrial action and the outcomes of it if this prevents us from
providing our usual service).

8.2 If this happens, we will not be responsible to you. However, we will try to tell you
promptly about any event which affects how we provide the services.

So basically, tough. If it doesn't come then it's your own fault for leaving it so late. This snow didn't creep up on us overnight, it was here on Wednesday, it was here on Monday. It was forecasted to still be here today. I'd try and get it refunded if I were you but you have to understand that they are extremely busy atm (what with it being close to Christmas) without the weather implications.

Yeah i'm only ****ed off see it where I'm sitting;

Paid about £30 for delivery today, going away tillnext weekend. Need some important items for a nephews birth also, baby monitor ect.

Okay I get back next friday. Means it wont be delivered till monday? Oh wait I'm out monday-wednesday.

And they will leave **** in my letterbox expecting me to go and collect it from their depot?
