Normally if I order from Overclockers I get next day post, now my graphica card is in pieces I am left waiting. It could be Saturday but knowing my luck it will be Tuesday when the pads and thermal paste arrives, I get the feeling RM have done as little as possible today to maximise the effect of the strike.

Whether you agree with it or not, isn't that the point of the strike? Anyone expecting post through Royal Mail at the moment just needs to be prepared to not get it for some days.

They're doing their normal job today though, you just got unlucky.

Glad of the strike, they only pay about a quid over minimum wage as it is, the raise should be in line with inflation.

Card is working fine wanted to replace pads, spent about £40 including shipping.

Put it back together then if you don't want to be without. It would have been a good idea not to take it apart until you had the pads and thermal paste in hand.

Why not pay the extra and get it next day through DPD? although I see they have a warning too, I guess this is what happens when you dont plan for events and the world keeps spinning without your care or attention.
