Why do they always attempt delivery at stupid times like 7.25am when most offices dont open until ~9ish!!! It happens every time I order something its ridiculous. Initial City Link and most other companies are usually fine!!

(Thanks to overclockers they did their job fine!)

I find our local postie delivers anytime between 8am-12pm. Last year it was bloody stupid, because it ranged from 8am-3pm.

Then, for some reason, on Saturdays he likes to deliver my parcels at 7:30am, when I'm usually turning over. :o:mad:

i sold my logitech momo steering wheel over ebay last saturday and posted that day after getting money over paypal.
I posted using royal mail 2nd class, well the guy still havnt got he product.. whats going on?

I order a DVDRW drive about a month ago. I didn't pay for saturday delivery, but it turned up on a saturday regardless, at about half seven. My wife got up to answer the door then announced the new rule that if I order it, I have to get out of bed at stupid hours of the morning to answer the door for it! :D

It is annoying though when you pay for delivery and then you have to pick it up because they decided to come at stupid o clock!

They have just been fined £11 Million for missing and stolen letters/parcels.

One post woman had 7.5 Tons of mail in her house.

Tsk..... Get a bigger letter box then. If you sending parcels, then try paying for it to be delivered at a time you are in.

I can imagine that would cause problems :p

it does the big problem is the PO staff sign for it , so you cannot state that is is damaged.

the next is you cannot request a redelivery as they have delivered it and have a sig

That went right over your head didn't it?

The last few items I've had delivered by Royal Mail have arrived at 8:30 on the dot.

Thanks to the front door having a bloody heavy knocker (shush :p) even the lightest tap can be heard upstairs.

The number of times I've jumped out of bed to the sound of someone banging on the door. But still, can't fault their service. One postman even commented on one parcel being a pile of bricks. He wasn't far off... they were brake discs :D

OP, you dont have a clerk or someone there to accpet early deliveries? odd.

Its common knowledge what times couriers and the RM work, expect delivery between those hours and you wont be put out.
