I've used a RR in Enfield which is at the top of the M25, about 5 minutes drive from one of the junctions. Gave me before and after RR printouts when I had my work done and I know they have Fiat, Pugeot and Renault car clubs down there and IIRC it costs £20 a run!

They do all the Fiat/Alfa remaps and induction kits and are brilliant guys.
 
Alternatively PS could simply pricematch the competition and keep our custom?

20 cars @ £20 a run is still £400 - which is better than zero and surely covers the cost of two blokes running the equipment for 3 hours.

Yeah maybe someone whos been before wants to get in contact. I've no problem driving anywhere really.
 
Ask scubascorpian, he works there and is the one that does all the runs.

I think it's been said before and £35 is the best they will offer at PS anyway.

£35 is far too much with a large group. Think it's time to shop elsewhere as they clearly don't want our business...

the VXR forums have had a number of rolling road days

@ Dreamscience in hull - £40 each
@ Star Performance in Scotland - £30 each
@ Mid Point Garage Cheshire - £35 each
@ Courtenay Sport, North Walsham - £35 each
@ powerstation (duh!) - £35 each
@ surrey rolling road - £35 each

All of them with a good 10 to 15 cars, the same as what we usually run.

It would appear that £35 is about the going rate.
 
£20-£25 would be nice but I don't think £35 is the end of the world personally. That's, what, half a tank of fuel for some? :p
 
It all adds to the cost of a day, but I agree it's mostly psychological. Somehow it's easier to justify to yourself a day that costs 90 quid than a day that just clocks over onto 3 figures. (I'm working on 70 quid for a full tank, going on the jap car standard of one 60 litre tank of V-Power)

It's the same as how a car that's reached 100k miles is a lot harder to sell than one that is on 98k.
 
I can but ask again if the boss is willing to move on the price.
It's all I can offer really as I don't own any of it. :D
