RTX Super Serious Problems

Is there not a box you tick under the tab when it is only gysnc compatible? A choice of three right? Then there comes the vsync setting which is just set to gsync under global for the choice of what one you wanted out of normal gsync fastsync etc? When you had this done you made sure the ingame vsync was off and triplebuffer ingame off too.

But i never owned a gsync compatible monitor so i never seen this 3 option setup where if it is on the approved list you click it? But do you click that when it is gsync conpatible monitors? They do not appear on the Nvidia list as they are certified. Maybe it will all be clear to me whenn i buy one but i undertstand how to setup Gsync perfectly but Gsync Freesync compatible like his Aorus confuddles me.

With a Gysnc monitor there is a separate option within NVCP to "Set up Gysnc" where you enable it and choose whether you want it operational for full screen or full screen and windowed.

Then you just set Vsync to "On" in NVCP and ensure you turn it off within games.

I have triple buffering on in NVCP (not sure if required) but games run perfectly so I've left it on.

If the OP has a Gysnc compatible panel then I don't know how to set that up.

So when the choice came up of what sync to use in my old gsync panel you always used gsync. That changes to just vsync again when you do the compatibility version?

Just checking as that is basically normal vsync that i use on my non sync display. I would have thought you did the steps THEN choose gsync. As it would magically appear as an option. Because you need to choose a vsync option for the global and per game profiles.

It wants to know do i use application controlled vsync or gsync if i remember from my true gsync panel.

G sync option only appears when i activate the free sync in my monitor options. When its active i can change the g sync settings. ive had all on and off with no change.

So with gsync on you have ingame vsync off triplebuffer off and you get 144 fps? And it stutters still? You know is there a button up top on your nvidia control panel to let you know when gsync is working?

You would get a message popup saying gsync is working, It works for Physx also.

By the way you did try full screen and windowed for Gsync? Was there not a furore about this that fullscreen was broken? Try this with the gsync settings. Worth a try?

Nah, internet is running fine (35 down, 15 ping), there is something more to this. Why is it fine on a 1080p monitor and not a 1440p monitor! Overclockers are going to replace the card but that will take time but id rather fix it and be without my card for some time.

Holy mother of god! tried single player, no problem! My network card is failing, even though the pc is getting good connection somehow i am lagging in games? tried my hardline adapter and its working 'well'

I also know what micro stuttering is!

I said that it was not microstutter but sounded like lag, The weapon thing was rubber banding probably. I was wondering what happened ah well network is easy to fix. :D

Also it is worth looking at that 600 Nvidia dpc latency, When fixed you should really want 80 max if HPET is forced in the bios and 55us with HPET off.

whats the best way to improve the DPC latency mate?

Google hpet toggle, That and bad drivers and bloated installs. If you want 7us idle on the desktop and 55us in games you need to work for it.

I run minimal installs of win10 drivers and chrome only no AV or security tools as i have a phone capable of letting me ignore using my good pc for that.
