I wasted nearly two grand on this pile of crap so called computer in december. Im going to give up on it, throw the useless thing away and buy one from a firm that knows how to make computers. All overclockers could suggest was 'send it back' which is not practical for a number of reasons. Im sick of constant crashes, refusals to open, or load, or start and error messages. Its a rotten machine and the very last I will ever buy from overclockers. They should be ashamed of sending out such a duff and rubbishy product. And special thanks to the help team with their one piece of worthless advice-if they had built it properly in the first place I wouldnt have to 'send it back' would I?

Just send it back, that's the only real way they can help you. Could be a million different things, including user error, and the only way to make sure is for them to check it themselves. They can pick it up at your door now, it's not much bother.

Yeah don't give up on it or Overclockers, describe the problems you are having and get them to collect. They should sort you out, I'm sure they wouldn't knowingly send out a faulty machine.

Problems can occur with any machine, no matter who put it together, and there are a lot of different factors that can cause it, so it's not necessarily how they put it together.

If it's not practical for them to look at it and try to fix it for you, then you might want to consider paying extra for on-site support in the future.

And what are the actual issues you are experiencing?

hashtagtriggered!

It's prebuilt but probably needs to be taken apart, put back together, try with one stick, ondie CPU IGPU, different GPU, different PSU, fresh windows install etc etc

That isn't what you paid for that's the retailers job, if it's crashing then yes send it back. Unless you're capable of some basic testing.

I'd remove and refit ATX/CPU power cables, remove and refit memory, then remove and refit GPU.

Why can't you send it back?

What warranty comes with my system?

Our standard warranty is a full three-year Collect & Return warranty including parts and labour. Be sure to keep the box in the event of a fault. If a faulty part is no longer in stock or available, we will contact you. Please note this warranty is not available outside of the UK.

We also offer a labour free upgrade service should you wish to upgrade your PC during the warranty period. During the collect and return period we will arrange everything at no cost to you (UK Mainland only). We will pick up your system, repair and test it, then ship it back to you. Systems are usually fixed and shipped out within 72 hours of receipt at OcUK (can be longer during busy times). If you are outside the UK Mainland, you will be responsible for returning the system to OcUK.

Because I failed to keep the box, expecting it to work like all my other machines have, because i doubt I would ever see it again, because it would get even more battered on the journey each way, Anyway, the problems include constant cutting out for a variety of error messages, very slow running on even simple games, let alone the mess it makes of BG3 or similar, the fans running loud enough to drown out the room, which I could understand if it was five years old and hadn't been cleaned, rather than brand new, and no, im not getting inside it and fiddling about, any more that I do with a new car, I would be much more likely to do more damage than to put anything right. I ordered a new PC, not a DIY repair project.

Too far for me, but maybe someone on these forums who is from that area can help?

Sometimes it can simply be a one thing.

Fan speed is down to custom fan setting in BIOS.

I’m pretty sure if you rang up and calmly explained the situation they’d offer to collect it with a suitable box to package it.

You’re going on like a child. From time to time, things break or don’t work as they should, even systems ten times more expensive than yours.

They do say they will pick up the System so would have to agree, phone them up and ask.

You could even show them the problems you are having.

Getting your knickers in a twist won’t help.

Just buy another box and send it back.

As the others have said, we all need our computers for stuff, but its giving problems, send it back, ask OC for advice, i'll advise taking the cpu cooler out and GPU to avoid damage within the case during transit.

But If you are throwing it out, ill have it :)
