What a day of great 6 Nations Rugby!!! That was a test match and a half 2 teams giving no quarter battering 7 bells out of each other. Proper Rugby played by two teams respecting each other. Ireland have destroyed our Grand Slam dreams enough times so it is slightly cheering to return the favour

So thought France the other day. A lot of teams I am watching are somewhat overrated.

England vs Ireland was one of the best games of rugby I’ve watched for ages. Absolute cracker, with both teams really raising their game for the occasion. Nice to see England actually clicking for once. Ben Earl continues to be an absolute beast and Underhill’s work rate is astonishing!

I would have been happy with that England performance even if we'd lost. Compared to some of the dross we had in the years pre-World Cup that looked like team that wanted to play a little rugby and gave it all physically.

Why are you kicking the ball away with 1 min 30 left? I don’t watch enough rugby but seems embarrassingly bad you don’t have confidence in not committing a penalty in possession for 1min 30

Going 90 seconds against a fired up defence, in a dangerous position on the pitch and likely only getting pushed further backwards, is a dangerous proposition. Safer to welly it, and trust your defence to hold them far enough away to run the clock out.
