Rugby union?

I was at that game today. Insane.

But Glaws literally fielded their academy players with an eye on their ECC game on 24th May. Still, they should have made it competitive.

They've got Newcastle on the 18th beforehand, so god knows what kind of a team they'll be putting out to preserve bodies.

If they have done that they should be fined by Premiership Rugby for bring the competition into disrepute and anyone who requests should have their entry price refunded.

Really enjoyed both England vs NZ games. Obviously disapointed that they didn't win either game, but happy that they put up a great fight in both and NZ had to earn the wins. The 2 England tries were fantastically taken.
England definitely need to improve their scrummaging, and I think we really missed having Furbank at 15.

I do think our scrummaging is standing still, but that is what happens when the front row hasn't changed in... 10 years (give or take). They are definitely wiley, but that isn't enough against the top teams.

However, I would also guard against the reliance on specific players, too, because we don't want to wi lnd up like the England football team. ;)

I think Borthwick is testing the waters with Marcus Smith at full back but we won't see that come to fruition for months, although having both Finn Smith and George Ford as potential 10s is no bad place to be for the Autumn internationals.

With the 2024 season (Prem) starting next month what opening matches are people looking forward to? Bath vs Saints should be an interesting replay of the final only a few months ago!

The 2 rugby championship games were good viewing. Argentina winning in New Zealand is huge and South Africa look ominous with the 33-7 win in Australia. Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been brilliant playing in different positions from the bench, but playing at 10 he looks different class. It will be interesting to see how Rassie deploys him for the big games.

Will be interesting to see how both the AB's & Argentina perform in tomorrows game, Argentina typically poor form in the RC games once they've won one match and the AB's have a lot to make up for (like that godawful 50m back "pass"). Australia clearly in a terrible spot (like Wales) so hopefully they can improve if for nothing but the Lions tour next year.

Enjoyed the Rugby Championship games both today and last week. All Blacks looked way better this week, and Australia made South Africa work a bit harder which was good. Very much looking forwards to NZ vs SA, those games should be cracking. I think Australia vs Argentina should be a better match up too, money is on Argentina for that one at the moment.

Do you think it was because Australia was better or South Africa just worse. In defense Australia looked ok but IMO their attack was non existent.

The all blacks in that first half were outstanding, will be interesting to see what happens when they come to the UK in a few months that's for sure.

Both - South Africa tested out new players - making 10 changes to starting 15. SA missed out on 3 tries in first half with silly mistakes. And having uncontested scrums meant Aus were not giving away penalties every 5 minutes.

NZ look far better with McKenzie at fly-half. Barrett can be a brilliant player, but I think they are better with a solid/boring fly-half allowing rest of team to flourish.

The SA v NZ games will be massive, with NZ wanting revenge for WC final, but SA are looking strong and have added attack to their play.

It's interesting to me that the all blacks have kept the traditional playmaking position of 12 with Jordie Barret, it obviousily has worked so far for them very well. But when was the last time you saw a NH team run a 12 as the secondary play maker and not 15.
