Rugby union?

They’re throwing possession away either through mistakes or poor kicking. Can’t play without the ball.
Precisely this, there were a few sparks where they looked like a team who could attack, but 70 minutes without the ball is simply unwinnable.
Every time thye got forward early they dropped the ball or had a penalty which resulted in NZ scoring.

It's going to be one hell of a semi final! Both teams put 40 on decent opposition and seem to be hitting their respective strides. England played with a huge amount of confidence and composure. I don't remember seeing England actually capitalise on their opportunities in that way before. They enjoyed very little possession, but were instrumental when they did get it. In previous iterations of the England team you'd expect high possession figures but loads of missed opportunities for points. It's also about time that Ford showed his quality. He's been really excellent the entire tournament and was really good when he came on. Nice to have that sort of depth in the squad.

The story of the game is surely that Underhill and Curry beat the masters of the back row Pocock and Hooper at their own game. They were sensational to watch.

If Wales are smart there is an opportunity around the ruck France are deliberately not competing at the ruck/tackle area in defence. The opportunity for pick and go around the tight could really open them up.

The only reason that wasn't a red is because South African refereeing staff. Because there were no mitigating factors, it was direct contact to the head.

Wales bloody lucky. Again.
