Rugby union?

Well done to England. Wasn’t expecting a victory over the all blacks but we did it :D.

Gotta band it to Eddie Jones, played a blinder with his tactics and players.

Now let’s bring that trophy home!!!

Which is rare for Nigel Owens, he's usually excellent. Not sure about that try being ruled out either.

It did seem poor, lots of forward passing, offside and I'm not convinced the second disallowed try wasn't legit. Really slows the game down all the debating with the TMO.

NZ looked an absolute mess despite the favourable refereeing.

Epic game. Not felt sick watching a game of rugby in a while. Final is going to be hard to watch whoever it's against. Not worn my England shirt for any game this world cup so definitely not going to jinx it by wearing it for the final in a very Welsh pub whoever it's against :p

Lots of bad plays by NZ that the TMO weirdly didn't pick up on especially the forward passes... Also surprised the hand to the face on Farrall wasn't a yellow. Clearly an unnecessary 2nd hit. Not like we needed the extra man on the field though!

It usually only takes a couple of minutes to get the correct decision. The clock is stopped so there’s no real issue with the TMO in rugby, it functions very well. This was just an off day for the officials all round. Thankfully it didn’t influence the result of the match, so I can let them off. They’re under an immense amount of pressure and 99% of the time they make the correct decisions. Rugby is a shining light when it comes to officiating.

Trouble is, from watching games at all levels, there is a significant level of bias. Watched Saracens concede 5 penalties in the first 3 mins within their own 22 against falcons and not only not receive a card but not even a penalty try when 2 of them were for collapsing a maul within 2m of the line.

What do we reckon for tomorrow then? 'cause I reckon SA are going to play their usual dirty style as long as the refereeing allows it.

How are SA playing dirty? Pretty much everything is reviewed now and the games I've watched, SA have dominated the opposition with no unfair advantages. What are you on about?

If anything, there have been decisions that have gone against them that shouldn't have. Same in this England game today. Forward pass in a rolling maul, what a laugh!

I don't think I've ever seen anyone pulled up for a forward pass in a rolling maul.

Neither have I. How on earth could you possibly even know where that ball is going in relation to the angle and direction that the maul is moving? It was silly and I can't imagine any ref challenging it again. As if that's something you consider checking after a try has been awarded. Rather ridiculous tbh!

To pick up on that and not the forwards passes too seemed very harsh.

England have basically zero chance of winning... Since 2004 the record is NZ 15 - ENG 1... People are kidding themselves if they think England have a hope. LoL

Yes I agree that we almost certainly won't win, I'm just hoping for some excitement.

Our only hope is an NZ red card.

These posts didn't age terribly well, did they.

Well today could be interesting, Wales have only played well once this tournament against the Wobblies. They haven’t really played much rugby this year getting by on hard defence and capitalising on mistakes and opportunist tries. They’ll need a tight game and hope the Boks can’t score much. The loss of Liam Williams is a blow because he provides pretty much the only attacking spark in this team, although Jonathon Davies return brings experience and a little more vision.

I reckon 25-16 to RSA with Wales scoring one lucky opportunistic try and the rest goals.
