Rugby union?

God another whistle happy French ref. Honestly I don’t enjoy international rugby anymore it’s about 1 match in 4 that is genuinely entertaining, I’ll have to get Super Rugby again.
England just can’t play a whistle happy ref for some reason add in their own poor decisions and this game was lost very early on.

I agree that Bundi Ali’s red was correct by the laws but I would have been happy with a yellow plainly no malice just small margins in the tackle.

Yeh i feel a bit sorry for Bundi Ali, immediately after the hit he was almost trying to catch Billy. No malice at all, just clumsy.

Was hoping it might allow England a chance to get back into the game but England are looking hopeless right now. Like versus Wales they don't deserve the win playing like this.

As a side note, didn't realise kickers were allowed 60 seconds for a kick. Could really do with that getting cut down, it's boring as hell watching someone stand there for half a minute doing sod all.

I'm fine with that red. It's reckless and dangerous, went for the big hit and hit the head. The game doesn't have a future if they don't penalise a bit like that with a red.

After watching Quins score 9 tries earlier today.....with all our players shunned by this turgid England squad, apart from our arguably least in form player, Marchant. Meh.

Squad needs a major overhaul this summer.

Until England stop giving away good position through needless penalties they deserve to lose.

It's just soul destroying and just so frustrating.

They showed against France that they can play, but when a team start to control the set piece and play a better kicking game it just goes to pot.

Bring on 8pm - Allez les Bleus!

From a rules point of view, I absolutely agree. I just felt sorry for him from the perspective of there being no intention of harm, not like some of the deliberate fouls you see. I'm kinda glad that didn't decide the game, would have felt cheap if England someone scrap back a result after that.

Such a frustrating watch for an England fan. So many soft penalties given away, inability to catch high balls if there's the remotest bit of pressure from the opposition and just looking completely unable to deviate from box kicking and smashing forwards into the other pack. After how they played against France I thought they'd try and play a more flowing game, but there wasn't any of that today.

Hope the game later is a bit more flowing and less one-sided than the other 2 games have been today. Would be nice to see a France win so that the Scotland v France match has some real meaning next week.

Whilst England are unnecessarily fragile they did win the 6N Championship last year, the Autumns cup (although v lucky) and get to the World Cup final in the last 3 years.
They are utterly unplayable on the front foot but disastrous off it. I’m not sure Eddie needs the chop but we still have a major game management problem that goes back at least 10 years, Cardiff 2013 anyone?

England packs were sold out on Monday when I finally got through the queue.

Translates to todays game as sold out in the head as it was a poor show, again poor discipline and body language showed they didnt have the fight like a competition game. Time for a clear out now and if Eddie goes, I wont be sad.

There is a something missing I agree and it may be degree. Guys like Jack Nowell and Henry Slade bring a lot to the team in all round skills. Jonny May is far more than a finisher, he may be a limited player but it is a limited player with great speed, great finishing instinct and absolutely 100% effort. But elsewhere in the team less so. Tom Curry is outstanding but do we miss Launchbury like workhorse in the pack. The Vuniploa's both look below par and now George is off his best we lack a hooker who is commnading in one aspect or another of this game. We're capable of a high tempo game that stretches the opposition but not capable of grinding a result if the other isn't working. We can't play what's in front of us very well and haven't since 2003 to be honest.

I agree these brothers should have been on the bench they look unfit or not game ready. If I was Eddie I would have swapped up the starting squad after the Scotland game gave the early warning shots. I thought the days of playing on reputation were long gone but seems this has crept back in. I even thought Daly has been vulnerable for a while now certainly not solid enough in the air to command that spot for sure.

Wales French match is surprisingly enetertaining, BBC commentary is a lot more competent too. Nice to see George North in the centres, Gatland didn't seem to get enough out of him by never giving him the ball. He get's more hands on time in the centres, lets hope it works out well.

Edit: that Josh Adams score might procedurally have been correct to award as a try. BUT! That was no way a try it was clearly held up.

Looked to me like part of the ball would have hit the ground before the hand came round? Not sure what the rules state though.

Well, that was an exciting one!
The change in story from France having a try disallowed, to get the red card only for Wales to get two sin bins and throw away their man advantage. Crazy game!

France are going to be out to chase the tournament win on Friday, should be good. I hope Scotland put up decent opposition as they don't have so much to play for now.
