Rugby union?

Doddie Wier has apparently just died from his Motor Neurone Disease. :(

One of the best Scottish players and I feel gutted for his family.

Such a horrible and evil illness.

Dreadful news. I'm primarily a rugby league fan, but Doddie did a lot to push on the visibility of MND along with rugby league hero Rob Burrow who also has MND. Its a truly awful illness. RIP.

Yeah it's truly a horrific illness. :(

I haven't seen the documentary yet that Rob Burrows has done with his family.

His friends are doing an incredible job raising awareness for it too.

Kevin Sinfield has been amazing and ought to be Sir Kevin Sinfield soon, nobody is more deserving.

The documentary is incredible (both of them) but it took me a while to muster the courage to watch it.

My understanding was that Borthwick wanted to finish the season with Leicester. He'd be taking on a very challenging situation this close to the Six Nations and have precious little time to change the setup before the World Cup.

Jones has been hugely successful, but his time has come to an end I fear.

Yeah after the last tournament final (world cup) you wanted to see if he could rebuild or offer another edge. However since then I feel they have gone backwards and dont seem to have a solid tactic. Its proabably too late for a new coach to peak at the upcoming world cup but if Jones is not up to the task he should offer to step aside and change instead of wasting time.

There needs to be major changes to the whole sport, it's dying at the moment. I've almost completely lost interest aside from the Six Nations, which has become incredibly stale.

In Europe they need to add relegation to the 6N and let the likes of Georgia come up and compete instead of the annual flogging of Italy. The second tier competition is already in place.

Globally the sport needs to change, get rid of the massive benches so forwards have to last 80 minutes. Make room for smaller, faster, more agile players. Get rid of the bloody caterpillar.

Get more Premiership rugby onto free-to-air television.
