I have never wanted a game more than Shenmue III. If this became an exclusive to a console then I'd purchase said console for this game alone.

I remember playing the first on the Dreamcast, got all the way to the end boss but couldn't make it past him

Didn't bother with the second, cant even remember what console it was released on...

I have only the first one on dreamcast, But its pristine lol.

I played and finished the second one on dreamcast, I've no idea why i dont have it any longer. Its not something I would have sold as I love the game. Long time ago though, sometimes things just evaporate

I hope they get remastered if 3 comes out, the voice overs are just awful

The first one is still one of my top games of all time though

I brought the first one and a dreamcast last weekend off the bay I've had the second one for ages on the xbox i've never managed to finish it though! I get upto the part where ryo leaves for that other town in the shack.

Gonna play the first one very soon then finish up the second one got a save where at the mo man temple carrying books boring!

Both the Dreamcast and Xbox.

The Dreamcast version was only released in Japan and Europe, and luckily contained only the original Japanese dub. Xbox version was U.S only and had the horrible but hilarious English dub.

So Dreamcast version is the superior one, and great if you have a completed savegame file of the first game to carry on items and such over.

I demand it be true. I also demand HD remakes of the originals with only Jap dub. If it doesn't happen, there will be tears. Or the Dreamcast will be turned on, one of the two.
