Run over, Rejected, Robbed!

He is talking about suing the woman that hit him, i expressed my sympathy at the time it is not a nice injury but still not very fair of him.

tut !, anyway the poor dudes been rejected as well and had his bike stolen, sounds like his had it rough recently, I dunno, I guess I'm a softy really, I just feel sorry for the guy, I've had similar weeks (sometimes years :o), I know whats it's like, it feels like the whole worlds against you, perhaps morally claiming the money isn't right but life is strange, perhaps in the grand scheme of things he deserves that money somehow, perhaps it was supposed to happen, maybe the driver was meant to run him over, maybe he/she wasn't as vigilant they should have been and now they will be so there fore prevent a more serious accident in the future, you never know, life works in mysterious ways, almost as mysterious as my bain sometimes :).

Woah - try a few full stops next time :p That paragraph reads like a woman on the phone speaks :D

oi :p, don't say that, I get enough people saying I go on like a woman as it is :o, you can breath at the comma's, seriously though I just don't get English, when I write any post over a few lines I genuinely just try my best to randomly spread a few comma's and full stops around normally, I never really know where to put them properly :(.

Hmm - so two weeks ago tomorrow I was run over by some stupid woman who swung across to the wrong side of the road. I had to have an operation to fix my elbow but it's still broken and I am still bruised and in a lot of pain.

That weekend I got pushed back by a girl who decided she just wanted to be friends. It upset me a lot more than I would have expected - I suppose I just really liked her and really wasn't expecting to get pushed back. I'll quickly move on from that.

Then today when I got back to my flat my bike was no longer there. My friends were like 'oh just go to a charity shop you can get a new one for like £20' and I just had to point out 'ok if your Mercedes was stolen would you go to the scrapyard and pick up some trashy banger?' - it was worth the best part of a grand.

Still on the plus side the compensation from sueing the fool who ran me over should pay for a new bike and replace the watch that got smashed in the accident!

The fact they all begin with R though makes me worry about my backside.

Sam

*Day Dreams*

Super Model is gonna start hitting on u

They begin with R because you wanted them to.

Witness:

Knocked-down, knocked-back, knocked-over.

The crime reference number would be before the insurance policy was taken out.

If the best thing that happened was them laughing at you when you tried to claim then you'd be lucky.

  no no no.

If he hasn't reported it to the police, then get it insured, wait a week, then report it stolen. (obviously report that it was stolen a shortly after the insurance was taken out, not before!)

Ah so your suggesting illegal insurance fraud

  no no no, that is fraud and could see him sent down if caught.

Is it really worth it?

Keep your rubbish advice to yourself :)

You'd have to be pretty stupid to get caught. Just repeat the events of what really happened, just a week (or two) later.

If you're happy to see £1,000 disappear thats fine. Personally, I'd want the bike (or the money for it) back.

You have officially been pwnd lol

Seriously though, I feel for you, thats pretty harsh.

That is some pretty bad luck, it can only get better from now if you can keep positive and enjoy what life throws at you.

My house was broken into whilst I was on holiday, so now I have a macbookpro. So all is well.

You sound like a fella I know from work.

In the space of 6 months.

He got his GF pregnant 'by accident',
She finished with him (by pouring a pint over his head in a bar of over 200 people - then slapped him in the face)
He went out the next day and pulled out in front of someone in his car (who crashed into him and wrote his car off, then destroyed him with the insurance claim to repair her car - which was also written off)
He then moved to a different country a few weeks later to get his head straight - went on a bit of a bender and proceeded to get run over (and spent 8 weeks in hospital with both legs broken)
Then got a medical bill of 8000 euros whilst still on crutches.

He is still not right to this day.
To be honest, most of those things sound completely his fault (maybe getting dumped wasn't his fault). Hopefully he's a bit more sensible now and will use contraceptives, concentrate on driving, not become drunk and incapable and make sure he has adequate medical insurance (the first thing I did when moving abroad).
