Just curious about this. You here on ocassions about the lasting effects running has on your legs if you do not wear running shoes/trainers.

I do a 20-30 minute run everday or nearly every day. I run in Adidas running trainers that cost about £60 on the high St. I know you can buy specialist running trainers from specialist stores but I take it I shouldn't experience any long term problems with wearing the Adidas running trainers?

TIA.

If it aint broke don't fix it! If you don't suffer in any way after running then your shoes are more than likely fine.

Adidas make specialist running trainers too you know. Buying shoes from a specialist store means you'll be advised as to which shoes 'may' suit you. I'd then adivise you to buy the shoes from the cheapest place possible - yes even if it is JJB :p But they'll still be the same shoe.

Might still be worth dropping into your local running shop to determine what type of shoe would be best suited to you. In some cases it can take years for the problems to become apparent, by which stage it's too late. Why bother risking your knees for the sake of a few quid?

It's a simple case of a submissive mind bowing to the dominant alpha male? Oh wait you're the psychologist? :D
