JB confirming his attendance at McLaren next year depends on if the car is competitive. I imagine the same situation exists for Alonso.

So if McLaren don't turn it round soon, they could have 2 different drivers next year. Good news for Stoffle.
 
JB's off then cos that car aint gonna be better than a 8-10 finisher this season!

Mclaren have already wasted 2 of the best drivers on the grid for soon to be 2 seasons they both should go off and do other things (be it F1, WEC or something else) and let Mclaren rebuild with Vandoorne and another youngster.
 
Watching the tests of the Red Bull Aeroscreen, it looks like the perfect device for launching debris into the spectators. But don't worry, the drivers will be absolutely fine.

Yeah. McLaren grew some balls and took a risk, they are commended for that.

But it hasn't worked, so they should move on. Save the £50m or whatever they pay to have Button and Alonso, put some young drivers in, let Honda put the engine in some other cars, and set about developing their way back to the front.

Button to Williams would be great. I bet Crofty has started that rumour as a way to try and make it happen ;).
 
So Nasr was saying his chassis felt wrong, team weren't sure and people gave him a lot of grief for using that as an excuse in previous races. Gets a new chassis for Russia and he's been a significant step ahead of Ericsson all weekend and beat him by half a second in qualifying.
 
Sigh. Yet again a build up full of "Ferrari can take the fight to Mercedes" and "McLaren can get into Q3", yet again neither are anywhere near to being reality :(
