Rust - multiplayer survival from the creator of Garry's Mod

First time playing, got loads of help from the OcUK guys, cheers! :)

Only thing that bugs me a bit is the optimization, the game isn't the best looking however FPS isn't as smooth as it could be! I appreciate it's early days yet though.
 
Great Game Rust is, have a six floor house soon 7 floors with metal doors etc :-) atm 4 people using it :-)
 
Garry seems to be listening to the community far more a certain other person atm.. Always positive feedback and nice quick updates. :D
 
Hmmm think i might be getting this whilst they fix dayz - tell me, can you secure your structures whilst youre logged and how do you get weaponry? Also, is this game solo friendly at all? I really dont have the flexibility to meet up at certain times with a group.

You can secure your structures with steel doors that only you can open however people can blast in to your structures with C4 and take your loot if they want to.

Weaponry is crafted.

I've been playing solo and it seems solo friendly enough to me, just have to gather lots of resources to make sure you can craft stuff.

Are you playing with no audio? Keep scanning the area as well and do not linger near rocks and anywhere else they can surprise you from. Keep your distance basically.

Nice, came on to find my house raided on Neil's server. I should have put a metal door really at the top. Wasn't anything rare really, just some resource stacks.

Do we have an OcUK server for this...

Tempted to buy it, but seems the game that'd be much better with some people that isn't slaughtering you constantly.

Some of us play on a server hosted by Neil here. There was a previous one but think the owners went AWOL.
