You cant build a "bridge" to a cliff like that, a ceiling needs 4 pillars.. You could try an angled barricade or something. But I predict some fall deaths in your future with this design ;)

And if someone chooses to destroy your stairs with an Axe you would be stuck.

Grrrr. Some dude jumped me last night and killed me. Lost my lovely m4, and pistol with flashlight attachment. That'll teach me for going it alone :(

Anyone wanna team up and create a little base? My cabin is in a pretty decent location and with a little help could be made quite secure.

had a good night on the server met a few decent players

the just going to bed i kinda got killed in my house made a jump so high in me chair!!!! scared me to death lol

Does anyone know if the Blueprints you have learned will stay with you indefinitely? Or if they will get wiped with the next major release?
 
They will survive a map wipe, but not a full player wipe. they are also not transferable to other servers.

Do it mate, for the money you really can't go wrong

I've been asked to add the groups plugin to server which basically mean those playing with friends can create and join a group which turns PVP off within that group so no more team killing

Anybody any problems with this being added tonight?

Ah that's annoying. Was hoping I could join the Cocky server with all my previous blueprints for all attachments etc.

That sounds awesome! The main reason I am put off joining up with strangers is because of the chance of them just randomly killing me. With PVP turned off for those in the group we could focus more on making a fortress instead of having to watch every other player all the time.

The server Cocky runs has a nice balance of players. You have lots who will help you out and you have bandits like me, although I suck at being a bandit it is just the role I always play. But if you kill someone everyone knows it is just a game and will still help you out at a later point if you ask, as long as you don't ask for help then be a douche bag and kill them lol.

It is a very noob friendly server as well, people will help with actions and questions. I have had it for 3-4 days and have only really been on this server and I now kinda know all I need to thanks to the guys playing on the server. Player wise it is getting better and better as well. Last night they had loads of players on.
