RX 580 Seriously Underperforming

Not turned PhysX off, but the high settings, not v.high, no tessellation, SSAA off it still hits hardly any FPS

Physx should be off mate on Metro that is using GPU Physx that only Nvidia can use without getting a massive performance hit. Only AMD users can use CPU version of Physx

For me it was dropping to around 20fps regardless whether I was using cpu or gpu for physx and gpu usage was dropping when it was happening. Disabling physx fixed the problem completely.

Go into Options, the game options

O really I knew Nvidia tuck a hit on performance but I didn't think it was much.

Thanks, have a brilliant new year, jesus Christ, off for a drink and a lie down. Before you go, any ideas why atilla is also taking a performance hit, its about 10/15 FPS below what comparative systems are getting

Ahh ok I thought you ment using the 980Ti you have in sig. Yeah Nvidia performance hit is much lower.

Sorry to be so negative but PassMark is another piece of software that is quite poor for getting useful results.

To get more reliable results that we can look at and help with you need to use things like Heaven 4, Firestrike or Time Spy all of which have their own bench threads on these forums.
