RX 590 vs 1660 - which would you get?!

Just looking back, can anyone shed any light on these points:

Is there much to choose between the different manufacturers? Warranties? Returns? Features etc?

One fan or two? Reliability? Noise?

Does the OC rating make a difference, or does it just mean they come out of the box with a mild(?) OC and the non OC versions are just as capable of being clocked to the same amount as the OC ones?

Also, will the outputs always be the same for an RX 590 or a 1660 Super, regardless of what brand it is, or do they vary?

Thanks

Out of the cards you listed I would go with the Gigabyte as you'll have less problems with them then any of the others if you have to use the warranty. Outputs differ from card to card so you have'll to check each to see what they give. It shouldn't really be an issue if you're using a single monitor. It might be more so if you have a multi monitor setup.

Just say I decide to opt for a 1660 Super.

And what about the OC cards? Eg, looking at some of the current choices on OCUK:

Can't rely on manufacturers' reputation for card quality sadly, it's on a card by card basis. For warranties/customer service - yes. I'd rank EVGA above all but out of those you've chosen I'd say go with Zotac. You get 5 years of warranty & it's double fan. OC vs non-OC, you got it right - they just have a mild OC and sell it for more £ but is the same card otherwise. Video outputs vary generally, you'll have to check each card.

OK, so thanks for all the helps etc.

Went with this in end:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £218.99 (includes shipping: £0.00)

Long time since I last built anything, quick question:

The card has an 8 pin power socket. The lead I have is 6 pin at the PSU and 6+2 at the GPU. Is that OK? Does it need all 8 pins plugged in?

There was an 8 pin lead from the PSU, but I've assumed that's for the MOBO.

Thanks

The cable for the card should be marked/labeled PCIe. The end that plugs to the card is the 6+2.
