I LOVE AKG memory foam pads! they need to make some for every single headphone.

I've got the 2011 Mixamp and I found it ran all of the AKG's no issue apart from the K612 which sounded a bit too quiet.

There's loads I've gotta add but it's been years since I've had a DT990. Sharp peaks, not the most clean bass, okay resolution for it's price range. At this point I don't recommend them as there's loads of phones that perform better thanks to places like massdrop giving massive selections.
