Ryzen 5 3600 Crashing During Stress Test

mines up with 0 issues all ive done is updated to latest bios and set ram to 3600 and flk 1800mhz
no issues with xonar dx either (asus win10 drivers latest)

only issue i had is I cant use a 140mm fan at front of d14 as the ddr4 sticks come up too high
thought i was buying low profile or is ddr4 taller than ddr3 ?

All aside, if the CPU is reaching that temp at those voltages then the CPU seems crap regardless. Granted mine is a 3900X, but slaughtering it in realbench on an all core 4425mhz reaches 81c even in my toasty cardboard box room.

81c stressed is solid in these temperatures in that room my 2500k @4.6 ghz would be hitting 85c on ibt in this heat

I've noticed over the years even a 10c temp jump in weather can cause massive rises in cpu temps

I have to agree with C4 hitting 80c is not unusual in this heat and using stock cooler.

if you are able to get stability at stock settings then there is nothing wrong. However it shouldn’t shut down as someone pointed out unless vrm is hot
