RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

5900X CPU has appeared as available at one British retailer! But I can add it to basket, but no delivery is available, and can't select a store to collect from - so might be a bug?

Edit: just checked - all other CPUs are also now showing as available, but delivery cannot be selected at checkout(yet?)

This just means they are gearing up for launch, it is the same with the 3080/3090 with them. Unless it shows available for delivery you cannot order as they don't have any in the whole UK available.

Hey, I already saw that. Looks like they are just setting up their systems. Shouldn't go live with an add to basket without proper setup. I can add but won't go past postage options.

Hopefully the price they have listed stays the same and bonus if I can actually go and pick one up.

Anyone reckon it's actually worth doing a US thing and ordering from a site like that and going there? Some of those places are open till 8. Can't really remember how fast click and collect works though.

I picked up a DP - Mini DP cable for the missus from there last night. Ordered at 7pm, was ready to collect at 7:15pm. But obviously dependent on your local store having stock. I'd happily collect on Thursday over getting it delivered, got a huge store 10 mins drive away. Hoping as a big store they might have some...

(some stores are open until 10pm this week so people can get what they need before they shut again)

Yeah, it's confusing as things change with lockdown on Thurs. I am assuming they are designated as staying open for most stores like that. Some are closed completely. May try and find out. Shame it's all happening around Thurs this week!

"We are open where we can be across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Due to the current Covid welsh restrictions in Wales, stores we will be completely closed from 6pm on the 23rd October until the 9th November."

I have no idea. I'll be checking the usual retailers myself at 5pm and will just see what's available at the RRP. I will not pay the price OcuK have it listed that's for sure.

Will be nice to see some gaming benchmarks as all the leaks so far are synthetics where we already know the out come and considering these chips were heavily marketed towards gamers then it would be nice to see if AMDs claims stack up.

5pm Thu launch means unlikely to receive until Monday 9th unless coughing up the extra for Sat delivery? :(

Hey,

I'm after either a 5900X or 5950X, is there massive demand for these? want to build my new system on Saturday with this item being delivered on the day.

Also, any idea when the Samsung 980 Pro 1tb is back in stock?

Thanks

Ryan
