what do you consider affordable?Waiting for the reviews of these CPU's before I order the last parts for my new build, I hope they are affordable otherwise I'll just go for a 13600k build instead
^ Not a chance. 7700X3D is bound to be priced above the 13700K, probably closer to 13900K.
out of interest, what makes you think they would price it there?Somewhere between 13600k and 13700k prices seems fair?
I reckon £550 too, especially if it takes the gaming 'crown' from Intel.I predict £549 for the 7800x3D since we are putting in our guesses.
This, there no way they will do the 7800x3D for anything under £500. They are going to be way overpriced initially.
You might see one elsewhere but not here to be honest. No doubt the pound fluctuating 1 cent against the dollar will push up prices by at least £50 over mrsp at launch. This, there no way they will do the 7800x3D for anything under £500. They are going to be way overpriced initially.
You're not going to get better avg fps, i think 1% lows will improve, imo.I'm not sure what kind of performance increase I'd want coming from a 7600x for £500, playing at 4k.

You do me a favor? Can you test Cyberpunk 2077 in the tom's dinner area? It's the heaviest area in the game, I wanna see how zen 4 holds up. I know the 3d crumbles. If you want directions how to get there, just askTo be fair to it, my 7600 @ 5.35Ghz (just a simple PBO overclock) runs my 4090 superbly well at 4k. I'll still get an X3D as I need more cores for some games (plus to improve the minimum fps), but damn the 7600 is a great CPU for gaming.
