Absolutely looking at these cpu's, i've been on a laptop for the past few years, will be great to have a full system again. A 1600x paired with a 2nd hand Zotac 1070 if possible is what i'm thinking about.

Ryzen R5 CPU's, anyone considering one?

Haven't heard official word of when the reviews are out. But there's a few reviewers who have already disabled 2 cores on an 1800X to essentially give a 3+3 1600X; gaming benchmarks were within 4-5% of the 1800X. So it seems most games don't scale past 6C/12T at the moment.

Im gonna guess April when the CPU comes out. Right now I'm going to get either the 1600 or the 1600X depending on how they OC.
