Sorry completely off-topic, but i've no idea who the mods are, or how to contact them!?! :o

Could a passing mod please move a thread for me? I thought i'd posted link in the software forum, but somehow i posted it in the general discussion forum!?!?!

I figure at least on of you guys is a mod lol! :D

Read the FAQ, it explains who the mods are including the differences between Dons and Commissarios.

I've just moved it for you :)

If you upgraded vBulletin to the latest version, performed some optimisations and installed a good turbo cache in MySQL there should be no problems. Heck you could even make your job easier by using vBulletin's new infraction system :)

Disabling search is going to make your job harder, it is going to annoy everyone else here (all the reposts, having to manually check each forum for new posts).

I think that this is a start at the top of a steep downhill slope regarding the usability of the forum.

It's been not working for me for a few days now. Soo difficult to keep track of the threads I start :/
I use Firefox and keep a folder called "threads" in the bookmarks toolbar. Any thread I want to watch I drag n drop the URL into it.

Or, I am also beginning to use the FireFox Update Scanner - you can add pages and it'll check the page every 5 minutes for updates, and notify you when one has been updated: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3362

Just seen the first 'where's the search gone' thread get closed :D

Wayhey! I love watching you mods gradually get more and more aggrivated at times like these :p
Some one also closed my
"Is there no new posts button on this forum ??? " thread....

That's a cool feature I wish that Opera did the same..

You missed it?! He was appointed yesterday to the dis-belief of most members on this forum. The thread seems to have disappeared though. :(

Ah, standards are slipping. Tiz a sad day indeed :(
