thanks to oblivion-lost as always. :)

i've actually read very little about this game (believe it or not :) ), aside a paragraph or two in a mag about a year ago. I'll likely pick it up - seems a cool concept.

Any idea how demanding it'll be? Am i looking @ another oblivion?

dosn't look any more demanding than most current dx9 titles, looks like it should run pretty well, after all they have had 5 years to perfect it.

You read my mind

But truth to be said, I am a bit worried about these upcoming dx10 titles and new games.

Hiper PSU is fine, never had any issue with this unit, ive ran crossfire 1900's on it for months without issue and a heavily overclocked system, its absoloutly rock solid, they have had a few bad batches in the past but get a good one and its spot on. As for this game expect it to run very well with a 2.6+Ghz and a 19XX or 7XXX or 8XXX gpu just fine.

Depends on which 7 series cards tho.

anything below the 7800 will struggle imo. Ive been following this game for 4 years now and probably know how the damn thing can perform without even playing it!

what is the concept of this game? i never really looked into it, but seeing as some of you lot have been waiting 5 years for it and still wanting to buy it, there must be somethig of decency to it.

is it like deus ex? a fps rpg? anyone do a quick summary and comparison of what this game is lol

thanks, ags

/lazy post

Is my spec a no-no? :(

Your spec should handle it fine, remember the game was supposed to come out the time your specs were at there prime, i think you should be ok with it, i just chose current gen cards as the general guide, as for the game, here is more about the game from the wiki, its kept up to date very often infact i updated the release date, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:_Shadow_of_Chernobyl more info about the game and the ups and downs of development, the game is infact a shadow of its previous self but does this make it worse hell no its still going to kick major arse!
