S.T.A.L.K.E.R Collectors Edition and further confirmation from THQ regarding release.

Why are people talking about the performance of the game? Is there a demo? Have a I missed something?

Lolcb is a funny character cant quite work him out, there are no demos out yet nada.
 
Just stuck one of the Collectors Editions on a pre-order for £24.99.

The site states a release date at the end of March... so I'm looking to get this for Christmas 2007!!!
 
Seems there is/was a closed beta of Stalker which some people are getting hold of. It's a MP only beta as far as I'm aware and a simple google brought up these screens.

Why would this be 'competitor hinting' if Overclockers don't sell games ?

These are not pictures of the BETA they are pictures of an old alpha build from years ago, tommorow its the press day at THQ for S.T.A.L.K.E.R heres a link to more info...http://theinq.com/default.aspx?article=37120 , expect this thread to be on fire in a few days with all the media that will be coming from the event.

Ive ordered the radiation pack, I assume thats the collectors edition with the steel case and everything.

I know 99% of the ppl who use the net know exacly were you mean, but even hinting the shops name can get you a ban on here.
 
like mentioned before this game will probably stink as much as the over hyped Daikatana

However, I would hold off on the exclaimed 'wins' until we've seen this thing running!!!!
