I have everything maxed out, but limited to 1280x1024, and tbh, im not really impressed with the graphics at all. They remind me of a bad version of HL2.

BUT, and a big but...i don't think thats gonna be a problem. I really like the physics of the game, the lighting is fantastic and the game runs beautifully. (didn't have fraps running, but with everything max settings felt like 60fps) Sounds are excellent, and very spooky. Maps are very detailed and very explorable. Really looking forward to the release of this now

Question:

I might be being stupid here, but, how the hell do you throw an F1 grenade without it blowing you up? :confused:

Just finished the download, and guess what?........power supply blew up :mad:

First time this happened to me in 12 years of computing and gaming.

/drop to knees and start crying, longingly staring at hard drive with Stalker on it/

Just for everyones information you cannot play or host any type of game on this new client without a legit key, seems they twigged on, no doubt someone will crack it :rolleyes:

, i will be giving away various keys (have a few spare)

I have used the key i got from the link above but it keeps saying invalid cd key !?! i've checked it quite a few times now & even checked my fileplanet beta CDkey page & it still won't have any of it

Can anyone give me another key to try possibly?

The game runs fine for me - but when I die, or sometimes just running along everything stops and I can't fire my weapon, then the game resumes and I'm in the same place as when it stopped - or I'm dead.

What the hell :/

Is this where it asks you to re-type it exactly as it appears in your email? Mine wouldn't work either, I just followed the link posted further up this thread, entered the first validation code and then it took me to a direct client download page. I didn't have to enter anything in manually.

I got my cdkey off the page, downloaded the client & then when i entered the game it says CDkey in top corner i enter my cdkey & go to join a game & it just says invalid CDkey.

Enter your key then hit enter

Hi all,

Tier 2 is now live and your pass codes should now be active, allowing you to download the new build and your GameSpy key. If you have already done so, simply return to the key authentication page and you will be able to access the new build.

Please note that the GameSpy keys will remain active throughout the Beta test, regardless of which Tier you join in.

When you enter the GameSpy key into the client, make sure you hit 'enter' on your keypad, or the key will NOT be entered.

Thankies that worked. Now i have to get around the strange lock ups on server loading screens. Set affinity to one core, drivers are all upto date & so on kinda weird to be fair. Will check their forums

Hmm wouldnt set it to one core if i was you , even the beta uses dual core.. Im using dual core so no problem

Tried it with it on & off still hangs at loading screen & now i can't find the flipping forums on fileplanet >_<

reinstall if you have problems. Ive had a few issues so i just reinstalled only took 5 mins.

Heh weird even with settings on minimum I'm getting about 4fps

Off to troubleshoot I go I guess..
