Yeah I completely get what you are saying, it's been in place for some 20 years, it's not going to end well if I start trying to change it!I changed a dashboard in one of my previous cars and it was never the same. I found it constantly creaked when going over bumps and hard cornering. It drove me nuts.
I'm not saying I did it perfectly or it could have been better, but it's definitely worth considering there could be unintended consequences!
Thanks I saw this one too but it's just too far unfortunately also the rear wing looks a bit out of place, but I imagine it looks better in person!Auto Trader UK - New and Used Cars For Sale

That’s a rare oem wing. It’s probably rare for a reason, it’s a bit marmite but I don’t think it looks bad. The front lip on the other hand is a must. Transforms the car. Thanks I saw this one too but it's just too far unfortunately also the rear wing looks a bit out of place, but I imagine it looks better in person!
Do love it in red with that shade of wheel. Lovely
Yeah definitely wouldn't say it's bad by any means, just not sure if I would prefer the look without one. That’s a rare oem wing. It’s probably rare for a reason, it’s a bit marmite but I don’t think it looks bad. The front lip on the other hand is a must. Transforms the car.
Yeah, that’s Honda oem optional extra on the facelifts.Yeah definitely wouldn't say it's bad by any means, just not sure if I would prefer the look without one.
I agree on the front lip, that looks the part. Is that OEM too?
Nice yeah I really like that, much meaner look.Yeah, that’s Honda oem optional extra on the facelifts.
plenty of replicas around but they never fit as well as oem.Nice yeah I really like that, much meaner look.
I imagine they are hard to come by/costly now
Ooophh yeah that's more than I'd fancy paying really but it does look fab.plenty of replicas around but they never fit as well as oem.
oem used to be colour coded and currently the only colour you can get is berlina black. And it’s around £700 the lip alone. Insane.
Sure, a bit more 'black' in places for contrast would be perfect, but over all black, I'd take that any day..Where do we stand on Full red interior?
This one's for sale and almost spot on except for this marmite detail.

I just don't know. I think it's maybe a bit much? But kind of works

The red/grey colour combo is one of the best IMO, definitely something I'd pay a premium for.. when I was looking at AMV8 roadsters, one was in Tungsten Grey with a Crimson full interior, which I wasn't sure about in the pictures, but in the flesh it looked fantastic and the Mrs who is much more moderate in colour choice loved it and every black interior we saw after that looked dull.
Oh local to me. Don't tempt me. It looks decent that as well.Auto Trader UK - New and Used Cars For Sale

I wouldn't be overly concerned if it's a decent independent.I've heard back about the one with red interior. Sounds like it has good service history however only the first 2 were done at honda, the rest were carried out by a local independent garage. Same one every year since. Is that a concern? I understand the s2000 can be a bit specialist?

I mean the only specialist things I'd say are valve clearances, alignment - because of seized bolts and things like chain tensioner rattle not being noticed etc.I've heard back about the one with red interior. that's what I said to my gf, no kissing, hugging etc as she won't be good enough for the next man.Yea if you want it to hold it's value or appreciate, keep it standard.
